Stereo Times reviewer holding my $80k power cables for ransom

He is a reviewer for Stereo Times Magazine. I sent him many expensive power cables so he could review them. They also cost me $100 to ship them from Sweden to USA, they are very heavy, approx 20 lbs. I sent everything to him for free, he has not paid anything.
After two months he still refuses to send them back if I don't pay hundreds of dollars to him, claiming his old tubes died from my cable. Everyone I asked is saying it's not possible and he's trying to scam me.
I need someone who can pick-up these cables at Overland Park, KS 66085.

Did you contact Stereo Times and ask them?
Yes, I sent many e-mails to the reviewer and got no replies from him for a month. Finally he replied and he has not changed his mind, he wants me to pay. -
Actually, we explained how a poorly wired DIY power cable can be shorted, and cause problems. Granted, the breaker should go before the tubes, but it is still possible your cables are the problem.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable

You sent some $80k power cables across the world? I would think anyone interested in something like that would just come and look at them (or you would personally hand deliver them in a suitcase handcuffed to your wrist)

Well, I for one would be glad to pick up your $80K cables but only if you allow me to send you a cashier's check for $80K prior to pickup. Sort of a security deposit to help insure that you're not subjected to any further mental anguish and trauma.
No compensation for such kind deeds is expected or will be accepted. If, however, you are able to secure an introduction to the Travelling Swedish Bikini Team that would be appreciated. And not the whole busload, just a couple. Or one. Things have been a little slow here at the Ponderosa lately. Quid pro quo.Sal Palooza -

Contact the owner/operator of Stereo Times, not the reviewer directly; obviously contacting him at this point will not make a difference based on past experiences. -

Just out of curiosity what were these power cords made from? Rhodium, platinum, or unobtainium?
Sounds like the latter in your case.

This reminds me of when I lent a very valuable Cheeto (I don't even want to hazzard a guess on its value) to somebody on this forum and then he refused to return it to me.

Is "Cheeto" in fact the singular of "Cheetos"?
Is there such a thing as "one Cheeto"? -
