My Polk surrounds finally have the royal treatment. I installed my new NAD T975 amplifier today. I can hardly believe how detailed and mellow those surrounds are now. I can hardly wait to see a movie tonight to really evaluate the new electronics sound with my Polks!

    Love me some NAD electronics!

NAD makes very good quality (and expensive) stuff. I plan to have that amp for many years!

Looks like a "beauty". Bet she sounds great! I use a NAD two channel with my LSi-7s, can't say enough about how that sounds!

    Enjoy!

Good. I'm glad to hear that because I'll be using the NAD to power up some Polk LSiF/X surrounds I just ordered. My Polk FXiA4s will be retired/ sold off!

Then you might want to add a fan on top of the amp. The space above looks a bit skimpy for good heat dispersal.

I was thinking adding a fan. I am also concerned that too much heat will build up in that space. I have a laptop cooler fan on top of the Onkyo unit plugged into the rear USB. I have another small fan that operates from USB also and may try and use that somehow. Thanks.

    Nice pickup!

Thanks. That amp is a beast too. It weighs in at 68 lbs! I've orderd some longer interconnects so I can move it to an unobstructed location to assist in keeping things cool. NAD calls for a minimum of 3 inches over the top free clearance so the stereo rack I'm using just won't cut it.

How do those 1562's sound compared to the NAD? I love the T975 , it's a killer amp and I'm thinking about picking one up myself. I would however like to check out the Rotel Digital amps. I heard a few of them years ago and really thought they sounded wonderful. Never did any compare to anything else.

Actually, I have a pair of Rotel 1572 amps at 250 x2. Not 1562-My mistake.
I think the Rotel amps have a full and rich sound for a pair of class D amps. They run very, very cool and have been totally problem free. I think they are a very good value for the money. However, I'm listening to them on my B&W diamond fronts and center speakers. My NAD is powering the side and rear Polk speakers. It's not really an apples to apples comparison.
