That was hilarious, right in the middle of such an emotional, heavy thing, for that to happen, never seen so many multi posts, just sat here and laughed.

Dude, i feel blessed to know about you and your brother, sounds like he and deb are made of the same stuff.

I cant say she has, she has put her trust in emory cancer center in atlanta, their doctors and surgeons.

This is her seventh battle with breast cancer, 3 before we even met.

Although we feel blessed to have the modern miracles keeping her here, she is beginning to have some darker thoughts about her care.

They went eight years between scans after her mastectomy with lymph nodes involved, then when it was found spread to her bones, she asked if there was any way it could have been found earlier.

The oncologists assistant said not without a scan.

We had of course, followed every order and mammogram, made the all day effort to travel to atlanta for every little check up, anything they asked.

Since being told this had spread, and a scan may have caught it, it has haunted and at times angered deb.

I know this is a part of the process of dealing with such a dire health problem, but the doubts do linger.

Deb has never been able to get the serious chemo or radiation that otherwise healthy folks would get because of her pulmonary and heart problems stemming from her scoliosis, what they give her is a drip of one chemical, and a dual injection of a bone strengthener that causes a lot of discomfort, and at first some pretty serious body pain.

We werent crushed after finding the strong chemo was out as it only benefits app. 1 % of patients who receive it, and she was not looking forward to enduring it.

Although if faced with cancer, its certainly understandable if one says anything that gives me a chance.

Heres hoping you guys never have to face it again, thank god she has beaten it twice.

I don't know you guys at all, but I've just really been touched by your circumstances. You guys are on my mind a lot and in my prayers. You just seem like such fighters with a great attitudes. Telling her story no doubt helps you vent, but it can also serve as inspiration and hope for others who are going through a bad situation. In addition, it really helps to put most of our "problems" in perspective. I know it makes me stop and think about how blessed I am.

I've been doing a lot of research and reading for the past couple of years. My wife and I have totally changed our lifestyle as well as our eating habits. Anyway, I won't get into "our" benefits and so on but I just want to point you in a different direction that may help turn things around.

Start by watching the documentaries "Food Matters" and "Hungry for Change". Don't just say you will but DO IT. Then do some research at this website. http://gerson.org/gerpress/the-gerson-therapy/ The cure for cancer was found decades ago. Remember that there is no money in health for the Billion-Dollar pharmaceutical industry. They want you to stay sick.

You have exhausted all efforts with traditional therapy. It's time to try something else while you still can.
