Hi All; Has anyone here heard the difference between the 2910 and 3910 for cd sound quality? I have the 2910 and am quite happy with sacd and cd sound, but was just curious if I would hear a marked improvement with the 3910. Thanks for any help!

The 3910 is noticeable in it's performance over the 2910. Depending on the deal , I'd say get one and hear for yourself. I'm sure you can get on pretty cheap now.

I own the DVD 3910. The only thing I had issues with it is it working over HDMI. HDMI on it is very buggy. I went back to component , Optical , and 6 channel out.
    How is your 2910 ?
I don't use my 3910 anymore. It collects dust now. Shame it's one badass sounding player especially for cd , sacd and dvd audio. DVD performance is top notch as well.

I have three 2910's. The one in my home theater works fine through hdmi, video only, never any problems. All my audio connections are analog.
