DSW 500 subwoofer - no power. Please help!

Good afternoon everyone,
My sub is about 4 years old and all of a sudden I'm not getting power.
As per the trouble shooting tips in the owners manual, i've checked the fuse and it is fine. I also confirmed with a
Voltage meter that power cord is working. However the amp won't power on.
Is there anything else I can do besides 1) taking it in for repairs 2) throw it out and buy a new one.
Any help/suggestions are very much appreciated.
Thank you!

Hello CalCity,
Welcome to Polk's forum, I'm sorry there's a problem with your sub. Is the LED illuminated on the front of the sub?

Thanks Kenneth,
Nope! unfortunately nothing happens. -
Hi,
Usually the first thing to check would be the AC fuse, sometimes it will look okay, but is blown. When you checked it did you use a VOM to check the continuity? There are two active parts to your sub, the bass amp and the woofer itself. From your description it would seem the bass amp is the cause. Give Polk's CS department a call first thing on Monday at 1-800-377-7655 or send them an email at polkcs@polkaudio.com and they will help you out.

Thanks for your help Ken. I'll give them a call Monday. I checked the fuse with a voltage metre and it's good.
Thanks again.
