mods on the 12c's, tweets?

Seems to be a ? As weather i can upgrade the rdo 194's in my rta 12c's to the 198's. Planning a full mod but can the tweets "BE" upgraded to the 198's. I understand it would need cap changes and maybe even risistor changes too but can it be done???

I yanked my sda cable on my 2A's one night and used 198's and had great fun. I don't recall the final TL as a spectacular pass or fail.

What does yanking the SDA cable have to do with the tweeters or the TL mod? Answer, not an effing thing.

Final TL? WTF are you talking about? Simply slapping a pair of RD0198-1 tweeters in your speakers is not a TL upgrade.

There is no "TL" Mod for the 2As. The SL3000s you're using are not correct, nor would the SL2500 or the RDO-198. The only Tweeters that are compatable with the 2As crossovers are SL2000s and RDO-194s
The T/S parameters for the two groups are very different.

To the OP, I've seen RTA 12s with Peeless tweeters, SL1000s, and SL2000s. The Schematics available here, only show the later version with SL2000 (and probably SL1000 compatable). The Hi-Pass section is pretty elaborate on the RTAs. I'd stick with the RDO-194.
