I was wondering what he using in his home, does he use the SRT, SDA SRS or something else. What he likes for Amps and Preamps to drive them.

There's a thread on that here. Or you can look through the old Polkfests, probably 4 years ago when a number of the old timers visited with Mr. Polk. He had 4 LSi-9s wired and crossovered SDA style and some large Threshold Stasis power amps, if I recall that post correctly. If not, someone will jump in?
OK, I see that is NO longer in the system showcase.
So WHERE did the pics of the previous Polkfests that were in this area GO?

This is what he had at the time of the the 2008 Polkfest:
Home Theater: Two sets of LSi9's configured in an SDA arrangement with an external DSP crossover and a huge subwoofer system built into the floor.
Two Channel: LSi9's driven by a pair of Threshold SA-1 monoblocks (160 wpc (8 ohms), 300 wpc (4 ohms)). I don't recall which preamp and CD player he used.

That appears to be an infinite baffle setup for the subwoofers. although perhaps it isn't as there are what appear to be ports sticking up. Perhaps he didn't have the volume below to go IB and built an enclosure with ports for better increased sensitivity.design is where science and art break even.
