I am looking to buy the POLK Rti 7. I have short listed Denon avr 2113 & 2313. Which one of these would you suggest ?

I'm not a fan of Denon anymore and think you could do much better with something else. But if your heart is set then I suggest saving a few more pennies and getting the AVR3313. It has more power then the 2313 which your RTIA7's will like. They are a good speaker that sound and perform better with more current.

If I had to choose between those 2 , I would go with the 2313. Why? Dual sub outs on the 23 which can come in handy when using 2 subs , More power in 10 watts more per channel. I really think the 2113 is way underpowered to run a nice speaker like the RTia7's.

I personally love my denon i have a 3312 and there is almost no difference in performance between the 3311 3312 and 3313 if yoou dont have to have the latest and greatest a slightly used reciever can be picked up for a great price and can be a great performer.... like around 600 or less.

How about an OK receiver with preouts and a good amp?

Not a bad Idea but there are plenty of good quality receivers that will bring out the RTIA7's. A used SC model from Pioneer Elite will make those babies sing.
