SurroundBar Digital One-Step goes distorted - How to fix

I just received a surroundBar Digital One-Step system and set it up yesterday, but it keeps going fuzzy/distorted, if I power the system off and turn it back on it is fine but does it every half hour or so. Can someone please tell me why it is doing that. I have a digital cable from the tv to the speaker, the subwoofer is on no more than 15' away from the speaker that I mounted on the wall under my new smart tv. Please, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. So far, not a happy customer :(

I would probably try an optical cable, providing the sound bar can accept it.

    Hello mitchy,
Thanks for posting on Polk's forum. Can you give me the model number of the SurroundBar you have? When the sound becomes distorted does it happen after you have changed channels? Or, does it happen during the same program?
    Regards, Ken

Optical cable is what I am using, Serial number is AM141200296, I have a feeling I am going to be told it is not compatible with the tv, but the funny thing is i purchased it from the shopping channel as a set that was sold together with a Samsung smart tv.

Sorry, forgot to let you know that I am on the same channel when it happens.

    Hello,
The model number would be SurroundBar 3000, for example and each model has different digital processing capability. It is probably best to contact Polk's CS department at 1-800-377-7655 or send them an email message to polkcs@polkaudio.com. I'm sorry you're having a problem, but they have lots of experience.
    Best regards, Ken
