Ever since I replaced my RTi38's in the front with RTI-100s I have had to play movies at a higher volume level than previous. I just figured that the speaker needed more power than the rti38's and therefore would need to be played at a higher lever. Is this right or am I way off base here? I have calibrated the 100's using the AVIA disc and a analog SPL. Any thoughts? Its not a big deal really but I just wanna make sure there is nothing wrong with my system.

May be placement. The 100's actually are more sensitive than the 38's, albeit only by one dB. They should not be harder to drive...

Were the 38's on stands before?

yes the 38's were on stands. I dunno maybe I am just imagining things. Since I hooked up the 100's I havent had the time to hook up the 38s up front again to do a full comparison.
