SurroundBar 6000 Intermittent Subwoofer

I just got a new SurroundBar 6000 system, and couldn't be more pleased with the sound...that is, when the subwoofer isn't cutting in-and-out. Whether we're watching a movie or listening to music, the wireless subwoofer comes and goes.
In case it matters, we do have Wi-fi running through the house, including where the system exists...but I doubted that was the problem since it works some of the time.
