Help with Directv

I just purchased and connected the Polk 6000 to my Sony TV and Directv system. I want to use the Directv remote to control the soundbar, power and volume but NONE of the codes they offer on Directv seem to work.

Help.

    I use DISH and they use learning remotes if a built in code is not available, does Direct have this? You can use your Polk remote to teach the Direct remote.

    On my receiver, if the model isn't listed, it has a leaning function. I used this at our cottage on a TV (that the model number was not listed) and it worked well. My menu says "I don't know my model". Use this. Polk Audio was listed.

    My Onkyo receiver isnt listed on the directv remote setup and I am out of luck on that also.

    Sorry to be so thick. I tried the six or seven different codes Directv listed, none worked.

    What is the "learning" feature you guys are referencing?

    If I remember correctly the 6000 Soundbar does not have HDMI hookups so no auto sync. Which model DirecTV receiver to you have? Have you tried these: 30189, 31289, 31414, 32115, 32270, 30892, 32228 and 30269.
