Connectors.......

May consider anything unused.
I am looking for some GLS (non-locking, just the basic) rca plugs in particular.

A/C plugs, rca plugs, XLR, nanners/spades, I'm game.

Watcha got?

If you have some "Used" connectors I might be interested also, just pm me.

Never got any offers from the jackarse for them either.

The key question here is-Do connectors really matter?

So is a $10 connector is 5 times better than a $2 connector?

    Can you PROVE that Face?
    JK!
I learned long ago the "no comment" works better for my particular situation.
But I would certainly have to admit, after hearing a pair or two myself, you may be on
    to something there :)!

There's no direct correlation, IMO. What's more important is the base material. Large mass connectors such as RCAs and binding posts, it's important to use a copper base under gold coating, as brass sounds poor in comparison. IMO, small mass connectors such as XLR and speakon, it's less important.

Problem is Face, you could probably count on 1 hand the amount of "copper" rca's on the market today.
As far as base material goes.
Keep in mind and make note, there are alot of "copper center pins" on the market (brass base for the return).
And some of those are KILLER (Onix comes to mind).
Nothing really wrong with brass, not the best naturally.
Been a mainstay for 25 years and some of the best cables on the market use brass, but they are designed,
and materials selected for that alloy connector.
If I were to build a cable, I would build it around the connector.

And believe me, that is NOT why I was asking about the GLS connectors, LOL!
I am a Cardas rca man myself, knowing how each sounds and designing accordingly.

I've got a pair of brand new Switchcraft male XLR chassis mount sockets. I was going to use them on my DAC, but ended up going with the much more expensive (but better) Furutech XLR jacks for the DAC. PM me if you need these. Thanks.

My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....
