the size of a pickup truck, what gear would you get when you go back in time.
I'd get:
A pair of big horn speakers
A very good record player
A whole bunch of opera/classical records
Some tube amps and pre like Dyna, Harman, Mac's
A few big boxes of pre and amp tubes like Telefunken, Mullard, GE, etc
I think all that should fit on a pickup.
What would you go for?

Western Electric compression drivers and about a 1000 replacement diaphrams.
Plenty of Marantz 8 amps and 7 preamps.
Radio Shack 40-1354 full range speakers.
Plenty of tubes.
BASF chrome cassette tapes.
Altec microphones.
And as many sealed Beatles albums as could fit.Make it Funky! -

Honestly, do you want that kind of business selling *anything* ? -
See, that's the problem....Dr. Bose did study marketing. He certainly is much better at marketing than audio engineering.:mad:Proud and loyal citizen of the Digital Domain and Solid State Country!

I'd go back to when Jenny McCarthy couldn't run so fast.

Having never met you, I can still say with complete confidence I am better looking and more charasmatic than you are, and you would still not stand a chance, even with a one day lead."What we do in life echoes in eternity"
