Restored SDA1Cs (Seattle)

I have a very nice pair of restored pin blade SD1Cs for sale in Seattle (local pickup only). These are cosmetically restored, not upgraded (no new capacitors, resistors, etc). They do have new grill cloth (fronts), end caps (hand rubbed walnut), and a cheap DIY RCA SDA interconnect cable . All drivers/tweeters/PRs work as they should and they sound like very nice stock 1Cs. The left speaker does have a couple of holes in the front (in the black vinyl) that look like they came from an overzealous dart player.

I'd like to get $475 and keep them in the Polk family. I will consider trades for a high current SS amplifier or AV processor with HDMI (of similar value).

Thanks!

GLWTS, I am sure you can find a way to keep em in the family. Just start hitting up the Seattle crew on PM . Or maybe Onebadchad...

Thanks Zingo! Unfortunately, limited space is one of the main reasons I'm selling the 1Cs (i.e., big speakers and small house don't mix well). No more big speakers for a while.

I will say that George's woodwork on those endcaps is absolutely gorgeous; you will be very hard-pressed to find better (that's coming from a fairly picky guy:smile:). They alone make the asking price easily worth it, and the pictures do not do the actual finish justice, at all.

You can say that again, These have to be the nicest looking 1C's I've seen and they sound pretty good for being bone stock but those SL2000's are going to have to go:smile:.

George is a very nice and interesting guy also a pleasure to do business with and meet. I can't say thanks enough for him for bring them over so I could demo them before buying.

My only problem now is what am I going to do with my 1C studio's, Just for H9 I think I'll gut them and burn the cabs.

Thank you George I am very pleased with these 1C's, Payment sent.

Thanks Tony! It was a pleasure meeting you. I really hope you enjoy the 1Cs. They couldn't have found a better home. I still can't believe you are self taught "electrical engineer/web page designer". You got some serious skills!
