Just checking. I have one on the way to check out, and not having heard of the brand, the owner of the amp spoke highly of it. Said I may have to leave this one on for a couple of weeks to really hear it at it's best?? I comes out of a home theater set up that was said to be used only a handful of times, and needs to broken in?? Never heard of that either?? I'll have it tomorrow, and am concerned the 125 watts wont be much more kick than my HK Pa5800?? Any comments on that are also welcome. Thanks

Acurus is a very good choice. You should enjoy it for sure.

LOL, reading almost any review with the name Acurus in it should most likely calm your nerves. If subjectively, it doesn't work out getting rid of it should be very easy.

from what I heard, Acurus has the same or better reputation than HK. between the Acurus 125x5 and pa5800, I will take a Acurus.

Sounds good. Actually there are a number of people here who run a 2 or 3 channel, not 5 channel Acurus amp and every one of them has given their amps positive reviews. Now we can add you to that list. NO surprise there!

    Enjoy!
