Personally, I don't think I've ever owned a car anyone here would care to fawn over and probably "never" will! Don't get off on the internal combustion engine and all its accoutrements. Does that mean I have to hand in my "man" card: Since driving that 600 hp+ overpriced vehicle. Makes one a real man, right! lol

So.....join in the fun, list your "mediocre" ride ! PS: AFAIK, no production car ever came with anything approaching "600hp+" , although......Cadillac is currently claiming : Power (SAE): 556 hp @ 6,100 rpm; 551 ft lb of torque @ 3,800 rpm from it's 6.2L V8 but, I think they're using some kind of fuzzy, Mitt R. kind of arithmetic !

Don't watch Top Gear (UK), do you? Bugatti Veyron is a production car, makes near 1000 hp. Plenty of cars you can buy with more than 600 HP.

Can we all say.....EXTREMELY limited production ? the Italians have pretty much had hi-po cars available for a long, long time, now the Veyron (ugly assed car,IMO) I'm basically referring to Mass produced vehicles here. No, I don't watch teabag shows too much either.....

There's a Ford and a Chevy in there, and as the article states,
Here we're showing off 10 current miracles of automotive technology, each with a minimum of 600 horsepower. And while you stare at the screen in disbelief, let us just say that the really shocking thing is that it wasn't a stretch to dig up 10 examples. This humongous power output is already beginning to seem unsurprising from top-tier automobiles.

And btw, Bugatti was founded in Alsace, France (by an Italian), and is now owned by the Germans at VW. The Veyron is mostly a German car.

Yeah, I knew the Veyron wasn't really a French car, although, it's certainly ugly enough to be one !

The world is a better place when the French are the chefs, the Germans are the engineers and the English are the Police than when the English are the chefs, the French are the engineers and the Germans are the Police.

Hey ! I too happen to have a 93 Bonnevile (dark green metalic), those are way far from mediocre cars! (especially the turbocharged versions !) The 3800 is Legendary !!! Have you redone the upper & lower intake manifolds yet ?

Mine's a SSE but no supercharger. Goes pretty good (slow compared to my T.A.), and is totally loaded with options including the heads up display. It's been pretty reliable. I guess it is a little better than mediocre. My son has a Neon. No turbo, automatic. Most mind numbingly boring car I've ever driven.

I think a CP member named "Mole" is into tweeking the Neons. IMO, that's kind of like putting a $100 saddle on a $10 horse......to each their own I guess!

1997 Acura Integra GS-R. Has 177,100 Miles on it and they are steady racking up with putting 125 miles a day on it but still runs Strong. At 200K gonna do a full stock rebuild on it, can't force myself to get rid of it due to the excellent gas mileage it gets.
