Went with some Kimber Kable 8VS from NeedleDoctor (since there are apparently a bunch of knock offs online). 6 foot pair of internal bi-wire 8VS with their bananas for my LSi 15's. Still need a 4 foot single 8VS internal bi-wire with banana's for my LSiC as well as 5 PBJ interconnects. Those will come later.

Stoked to get home and get these hooked up!

Well the MIT's have been out of my system for a couple weeks and I went back to using stock jumpers and some 14/4 Audioquest speaker wire. I still have them packaged up ready to go to Doro but dont want to open them up at all .

I will make comments after giving them time to settle in.

I would like to throw a shout-out to steveinaz for putting up with my ridiculous amounts of questions via PM

I have used Kimber XLR Hero ICs, but not their speaker cables. However, I have only read good things about them. Of course, the people doing the writing knew what they were talking about. It really makes you wonder why some people refuse to believe that cables are a valid component, and they each have a sonic signature.

Enjoy, and give us a review in the future.

228 for the pair of 6 foot internal bi-wire. If I would have gone with regular wire it would be ~60 bucks cheaper. So if you dont need bi-wire they are quite nice. Same with banana's. The standard spades wouldnt fit on my LSi 15's so I had to go with banana's so I decided to go bi-wire rather than making custom jumpers.

No worries mate, I was getting worried though I hadn't heard from you in a bit. Glad all is well. Will catch up with you later .

I would assume so, but email kimber. They were very quick to respond to my questions and make recommendations. Both them and Needle Doctor (who I had no less than 15 emails back and forth with).

As any FYI to everyone, either NeedleDoctor or AudioAdvisor will do custom lengths but you have to call them to ask about it. It gets kinda tricky as there is a actual formula they have to calculate for price .

I havent had a bunch of time with these but I will say that from the brief listening I got in on Friday they had a BUNCH more detail in the high end and some nice authority in the low end that I didnt have before.

Now keep in mind I havent had the MIT EXp2's in my system for about a month at this point and was using Audioquest FLX 14/4 wire I custom made myself.

I will write up more after I have given them a good break in time but so far I think a worthwhile investment and looking forward to grabbing the center channel SC as well as the IC's (PBJ's) hopefully for Christmas to myself.

Your welcome bud, hope they meet your expectations. I've had my 8TC's and Hero's for years now and haven't had any desire to replace them.

PBJ is hard to beat for the price. I still have a couple sets on the patio rig.

Yeah, I am loving the 8VS right now and cant wait to jump up to the PBJ's or even maybe the Timbre or Hero's.

Well, they do have a black and white twist on them, could very well be. Better make sure there isn't more white strands than black or you could get a knock on the door. The older version where Blue......don't know of any blue race out there so they were pretty neutral. Maybe a smurf or 2 would complain about the blue, but hey, those dudes are creapy anyway.

Congrats on the cables, give us a review when time allows.

Kimber Kable is a fantastic company , every single cable they make is stellar.

Sweet cables , round them off with some Hero's. PPj's will also work just fine , they are one of our industries Gems. Cheap and perform better then most.
