i own these. Absolutely amazing looks. not just pretty, but sophisticated and non imposing in a living room.
Sound is super mellow on top and very beefy in the mid and upper bass. It is a complete opposite of my A7 where the highs are sharp, then thin mids and all the way down some good bass (when amped well)
These babies can THUMP. Unbelievable output for this slim size. They just sound so much bigger than the A7 because the mid range sounds very full. Totally opposite graph of frequency response.
Still, i have to admit A7 seems to have a little better detail, but for longer listening sessions with company i prefer my Espresso.
Great deal and highly recommended!

I have found that tube based computers provide the best sound quality. ENIAC and MANIAC I offer a smooth, well defined and articulated sound unmatched by the current silicon based CPUs.

These are easy, very easy to drive. I tried several amps with them, B&K, behringer and QSC, but right now they are powered by a Pioneer 1020 with the biamp setting routing the rear two channels to the highs. Since the AVR is driving them in 2.0 it is able to push them just as well as the amps. Since the power handling on these is only 150W there is not much to gain from an amp, because a good receiver in 2.0 can power them well.
Make no mistake about the 150W power handling- these go noticeably louder than my 300W A7s, due to their ridiculously high sensitivity. I had my DSW 660 attached to them but I turned it off because it distorts their own bass. They make a very full muscular hit on every beat on their own, without a sub. Trully surprising for their size. Sound much cleaner without a sub and I love them the most in a 2.0.I have found that tube based computers provide the best sound quality. I was thinking of buying them. Just not sure how they sounded. Maybe I will...
