Tweeters stopped working

Hi all/Customer service,
I was playing files through my computer and had a "buzz" in the system, the software did not play the file properly, couldn't possibly decode the audio and a "buzz" come out of the speakers.
It was loud but normal, my ears are in perfect condition, I didn't become deaf. However, right after the sound was HORRIBLE, I took the screens out and noticed that sound is NOT coming out from the tweeters anymore !!
Have they blown-up ? Because of that ? I expected the speakers/tweeters to stand these kind of things !
The retailer customer support said that they'd send replacement speakers....is it easy to replace them myself ?
I am too disappointed
Any help is appreciated,
Thanks,
Mongo

If you send a clipped signal to any brand of speaker at a loud volume level, bad juju is going to happen.
Don't blame the speakers, blame your computer.Political Correctness'.........defined

What did you blow? The Rti-9s? Pretty easy to replace, just unscrew, pop out the old one, attach ends to the new speaker. Make sure you've got your + and - wires matched properly. A few minutes and you'll be up and running. Nothing to worry about.
But, yeah. Be careful!
