I enjoy the ads in hi-fi magazines almost as much as the articles. For whatever reason, tonight I was thinking of an Audioquest cable ad where they show a sheet of music obscured by hazey glass planes. Remove one or more planes and the music becomes clearer. For me, this is a great ad since it clearly shows the audio effect from better cables; speakers, interconnects, and power. I have never heard Audioquest cables, but I remember this ad.
Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable
Sony XA-5400ES SACD; Pass XP-22 pre; X600.5 amps
Magico S5 MKII Mcast Rose speakers; SPOD spikes
Shunyata Triton v3/Typhon QR on source, Denali 2000 (2) on amps
Shunyata Sigma XLR analog ICs, Sigma speaker cables
Shunyata Sigma HC (2), Sigma Analog, Sigma Digital, Z Anaconda (3) power cables
Mapleshade Samson V.3 four shelf solid maple rack, Micropoint brass footers
Three 20 amp circuits.

Honestly I really loved the Bryn Mawr Stereo and video ads on the radio , later we changed our name to Tweeter and the ads still where great.
There is nothing better then "AUDIO VIDEO AND A BOAT LOAD OF KNOW HOW". NOTHING!!!!
After that go you tube and check out the Crazy Eddies ads on Tv , they where truly great.

My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
I think that Tweeter (from MA) bought Bryn Mawr, didn't they (i.e., not just a "name change")?
