3000 Soundbar=Jet Engine?

I've had my 3000 for about a year and it's been great. Occasionally, however, I'll turn it on and the subwoofer will make a jet engine-like roar. Usually, if I turn off the soundbar then turn it back on, the subwoofer returns to normal. It happened again yesterday, but did not return to normal until this morning. I'd appreciate your thoughts on the cause and solution. Thanks for your help!

Hello jronkin,
Welcome to Polk's forum. Try setting the channel selector, on both the bar and the sub, to another channel. Try the highest setting to see if the noise is caused by external interference.

Thanks -- I'll try it!

No luck yet. No matter which channel I set both of the components to, I still end up with the airplane sound coming out of the subwoofer. Any other suggestions would be hugely appreciated. Thanks.

Hello,
It is time to call Polk's CS department at 1-800-377-7655 or via email at: polkcs@polkaudio.com. In all likelihood there's something electronic gone awry.
Regards, Ken -
Will do. Thank you.
