Well, it's time to move on. I kept these around for 9 months, which is saying a lot for me! These are exceptional speakers, and they are in truly excellent condition.

$3k.

Preference given to local pickup in Alexandria, VA. I have the shipping cartons, and I will ship them, but it will be a couple hundred bucks. If picking up, pay cash. If not picking up, pay with US Postal Money Orders or Paypal (add 3.5% for Paypal).

    Thanks for the back. Yep these are the BE's. 90lbs a piece, so yea, they're substantial... but not overly large. They're very dense. :biggrin:

    That's a wonderful pair of loudspeakers....one of my favorite manufacturers aside from Polk of course.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    So, are these on the bay? Any updates on the price reduction yet? LOL, I kid.

    I am in a bit of an overcrowded, too many speakers, limited space, and home searching etc. crunch. Else, I would take these from you in a heartbeat. I am a huge fan of the 'BE sound and searched tirelessly all of last year, ranging form the 718s to the CP's. I already know I will regret to see these go elsewhere but such is the timing in life.

    Good luck, who(m)ever ends up with these will be very lucky and happy.

    Good deal, I'll keep you in mind. I'll probably throw them up on ebay sometime this week with a high opening price or reserve just to see what happens. You never know over there. I wouldn't be surprised if they went for 3k+, but with speakers like these, it's all about the right people seeing them at the right time.

    Congrats!!! I don't know the difference between the orig and the DMD versions, probably minute, but I can tell you I love my DMD to death; I don't think I will ever sell them :cool: And I got it at a great price, too :smile:

    Congrats hukkfinn.....the difference between the BE version and the DMD are noticable but its like rolling tubes, the hobby...I will be ordering the BE version tweets for the enjoyment of change of gear and experiment. The BE's roll off a little sooner. Ushers are one of the best bang for the buck.
