Hum anthem pre2l

Lot of hum!

I have an anthem pre2l with ? lot of hum even when THE volume is to zero
Does anyone know an modification for this problem

    It may be one of your tubes going bad.

    No its not the tubes, it seems that the this is an problem of the preamp
    The hum is to load, exchange tubes for several other models does not help

    Sounds like a transformer ground lifting and failing....I'm presuming you checked all your usual suspects and that's more than a tube. Email Chris @ Parts Connection(x) and see how far he's willing to float some advice since he helped design that unit.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
