It may be one of your tubes going bad.____________________________________________________________

No its not the tubes, it seems that the this is an problem of the preamp
The hum is to load, exchange tubes for several other models does not help -
Maybe a cap going bad?____________________________________________________________

Sounds like a transformer ground lifting and failing....I'm presuming you checked all your usual suspects and that's more than a tube. Email Chris @ Parts Connection(x) and see how far he's willing to float some advice since he helped design that unit.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
