I've been in extremely upscale houses that had plastic patio furniture and a cd boombox. All show and no go as we say here in the Midwest. So for me that may be upscale if i seen it in plastic furniture house

Whenever I see new in the box ads but the boxes are open I say, if you opened the boxes why would you stop there. I treat them as used but put back in the box condition.
^^^Agreed, If the plastic is unopened and they were well stored, you probably won't find a more preserved pair. Can't tell which version and what tweeter they have. Who knows on the price? You can ask anything.

I just saw the stands come with. That increases the pot. Can't really tell if they are the original Polk stands through the plastic. I don't have a pair of them.

To clarify, I have three pair of the 7's, just don't have the original Polk monitor stands. Some one close should check 'em out. Doc Hardy's area, but too pricey for him
