Glad someone got a deal. I would probably have passed anyway. I have way too many now not in use. The 2B's are ones I don't have that everyone raves about. The 2B's are probably one of the few Polk's I would consider going for. I would prefer the non-studio version. I have similar mid-sized 2A's, 1C's and many others.

The fabric side wood end cap version looks a lot better to me too. Vandersteen style.

Those are the ones I had. Out of all the SDA-2 models there seems to be I think this version looks the best. Of course, they sounded great.

I have the 2.3's as above, that I use quite often. I see/hear no major faults with them. I know they would perform substantially better with tweeter and crossover updating. They're still all stock as are my 1.2TL's. I do have three full sets of Larry's Rings for 1.2TL, 2.3 & 1C, Larry's dreadnought case and the Avel-Lindberg 1000va isolation transformer. All patiently waiting for me to make time for them. Which I have very little of.

Many here opine the 2.3TL represents the best of the last generation of the SDA SRS. I have not heard a TL pair yet. The RDO-198 tweeter is superior to the 194.
