I have the 2.3's as above, that I use quite often. I see/hear no major faults with them. I know they would perform substantially better with tweeter and crossover updating. They're still all stock as are my 1.2TL's. I do have three full sets of Larry's Rings for 1.2TL, 2.3 & 1C, Larry's dreadnought case and the Avel-Lindberg 1000va isolation transformer. All patiently waiting for me to make time for them. Which I have very little of.

Many here opine the 2.3TL represents the best of the last generation of the SDA SRS. I have not heard a TL pair yet. The RDO-198 tweeter is superior to the 194. -
It wouldn't be a fair fight, mine are hot rodded to the max.

These are the SDA 2s I had. They were great speakers, but the side panels warped and wouldn’t flatten out to stay on. I was a bit P.O. about that.
