New iMac

Picked up a new iMac - it's the 27" model, with the 3.4GHz Core i7 Processor. It comes with the ATI Radeon HD 6970M graphics card, which pairs well with the 27" screen. I gotta say, however, the glossy screen takes some time to get used to. It's just too bright at the default settings.
Overall liking it so far... will report back once I get some work done to see how it performs.

Who cares what Windows rates it as!
Do yourself a favor, spend the $162 and max out the RAM....

Are SSDs available that are USB and get their power via a USB 2.0 port? If so I might get one as a drive for high-res files, and keep CD quality files on the spinning platter HD.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable
