PSW505 Squeaking

I just purchased a psw505 from new egg for my new theater system and right out of the box its squeaking when ever the bass hits almost like something isn't tightend enough its pretty loud too it sounds like its comming from the back plate but I don't want to take anything off incase of voiding the warranty. I could return it ot new egg but was hoping it might be common or a setting I didn't get right.

    Call newegg right away and discuss this with them. It shouldnt do that at all. If your not on carpet put a towel underneath it and see if it still squeaks. Make sure you dont have the gain all the way up. Thats about all the troubleshooting I would try.

    I bought my PSW505 a few days ago and I'm having the same problem as idahovandal. I bought mine from Amazon though.

    I have two of them and haaven't had any problems. I agree with EndersShadow and contact the seller right away

    Man the 373 positive eviews are starting to look kinda faked to me dammit! I just gota psw 505 off of amazon, mine doesn't squeak but it sounds like a wind storm when I play really low bass thru it! And don't take off the plate amp, just tighten up screws a lil, even if you could get plate off, there's no way to feel around on inside of the box, its cramped with baffles and such in there

    Mine works great, but if it is squeaking, maybe something loose in the enclosure, or perhaps a bad voice coil?

    I had mines for less than 30 days, and it just start squeaking this morning. I'm bout to contact Amazon right now.
