RTi A7 setup
I'm finally getting my RTi A7s (they've been on backorder from Polk) and had a quick question about the setup. I will have RTi A7s, a CSi A6, and FXi A6s for my home theater and it was suggested that I bi-wire the speakers by the store. I have to admit I'm only slightly familiar with the concept and would like opinions from the forum as to whether it makes that big of a difference in sound quality. Any input would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!

it does nothing good, but nothing bad either. It also costs nothing. Just run two pairs of wire from one set of terminals to the other. It will cost you two more banana plugs and extra 15 feet of wire. If things are so cheap just do it so u sleep tight.I have found that tube based computers provide the best sound quality. ENIAC and MANIAC I offer a smooth, well defined and articulated sound unmatched by the current silicon based CPUs.jeremymarcinko wrote: »But as in all things your perception is your reality.

apoteker - Welcome to Club Polk! My personal approach to this (and a lot of others on here), is to just use a single run of the best quality speaker wire that suits your budget. Then, cut a couple of short pieces to replace the stock jumper plate that connects the upper and lower posts on your speaker. Enjoy your new speakers!
