Wasn't there a thread on the new polk logo?

I thought I saw one but I don't see it now or I'm not searching properly.

Generally I made this thread to talk about the new logo as I'm on the fence the more I look at it. It almost looks cheap.
I liked the older polkaudio in the bubbly design before the last one. I know this new one is like the original but I'm not feeling it. The heart is corny.

    While the logo itself would not have been my first choice, overall I like the new page . It looks less corporate and it appears to try to stear us more to the reason we all got into this hobby....the music (vs. all the other BS that gets posted sometimes)

    Alright, everyone listen up...I've made my decision.

    Font = yes
    Heart = no

    I think it was tonyb's "Hello Kitty" comment that did it for me on the heart.

    Does the new look have anything to do with the incredibly slow loading of the site? Each time i access the forum it has over 100 "pics" to load...none of my other sites do this so it must be just a Polk thing..??

    Man people hate change....I really don't see what all the fuss is about. I don't own Polk, stock or anything. I could care less about logo's. The sound of their speakers is what matter to me. Just saying....

    The site loads just fine for me. Not had a single issue.

    FWIW, the polk in the new font will appear on new products, the heart will not.

    I agree with what's been said so far. Love the new font, not a fan of the heart. I'm glad to hear the new products would not be adding the heart to the logo. I feel it might make the product seem cheaper.

    That heart thing is cheesy. Mine loads a little slower too and the typed letters are one letter behind what I'm typing.

    Exactly. Could it be any more generic?

    It doesn't mean much to me one way or another. Now that I heard the Hello Kitty reference I won't be able to get that out of my head in looking at the logo.
