Need help with buzzing noise

Hey fellas, I bought a $39 Monster power strip with coax protection. I'll be darned if the thing eliminated 95 percent of the noise. The noise can now only be heard if my ear is within a foot of the tweeter. Seems like a bit of a band aid fix, but I will take it.

Cooljazz- I will unhook above power strip tomorrow and lift that ground. If that eliminates the problem, what is the next step? A better grounding point? Better wire? It has to be grounded, right?

So I guess you were a good candidate for a power conditioner. Still, you have a grounding issue somewhere in the chain. Maybe pickup a few more cheater plugs and play around with different pieces or combinations. A cheater plug in essense just lifts that ground to whatever it is added on to.

Glad your close to getting it fixed altogether anyway, rock on.
