Upgrade for RM 6750 center

Hi,
I've had the RM 6750 for a little over a year, and generally am very happy with it. Our basement is roughly 12 X 18, with the seating area about 10 feet away from the TV and front/center speakers. Often time during movies it becomes difficult to hear the dialogue so I crank up the volume - only to be blown back when things return to a normal volume in the movie/show. As amusing as it is to watch my son jump back when it gets really loud, I'd like to minimize the amount of time I'm adjusting the volume up and down when watching movies. I have a Denon AVR 1611, and have rasied the volume on the center 3 decibels above the rest, but then it distorts things a bit.
While this is better than before, I'm wondering if there is another center that would still match the rest of my 6750 set as I'm somewhat limited to satellites for the fronts. Realize that the front three need to be matched, but is there another Polk center that would match the 6750 satellites ?
Don't know enough to try and compare specs to make this decision on my own, but at least do know enough as to where to go for help !!
Thanks,
Chris
