Or do you mean 50 last chances? Had a teacher in high school that would send you to the dean for your "50 last chances"

    Thanks for the bump!

Are you talking yourself out of a sale? If not when is a good time to audition? That's pretty much what I am saying.

Great! This Saturday I have made plans to insulate my cabin and then I have a client from Chicago on Sunday. How is next weekend for you? I am in Toulon about 30 mins North of Grand Prairie. Half way between Peoria and and QC. I'm not on the road for the rest of the season. I know the wife wants to see them so she can figure out what furniture for her that this will cost me haha.

Glad to see they are going to a good home. I remember when you bought them as I called the seller just after you got them. Oh well, maybe someday I'll locate a pair near me.

Yes, sir. Perfect pair. If charley95 must let them go, then he must. The hobby evolves. I'm tempted to go get them myself. Such a sweet, sweet pair. In my opinion $850 is a bargain for the kind of sound and the kind of condition those are in.

For amplification I keep it pretty simple. A Sunfire 425 x 5 sig for the front center and surround and a 100 watt carver amp/receiver (the receiver 900) for the back surround. I put my 1c's in the surround, 11t in the back surround and the 2.3's have a hole waiting in the front duty position, aside a cs350 and two makeshift dxi subs one on either side.

I'd really like to find a hot amp for the front but man...2K for the 600 x 2 for two channels is a harp pill to swallow, or force feed to the wife depending on how you look at it lol.

Why not try the Sunfire on just the front 3 with the mains bi-amped...I do it that way and I like it...just a thought.

I very well may. Without the 2.3 being in the living room yet (3 hours to go hehe) I cannot say what will be best. If I were to do that, I would then need another 4 channels. IDK maybe another 425x is in the future but it seems like a big gun to run the 2.3 is the way to go. Convincing the wife, after this weeks purchases, is most likely the most difficult hurdle. I will say my living room looks bad **** with the 1c and 11t in the "rear". What ever it is it will be a Sunfire sig. An ocd issue dictates the components be identical if they perform an identical task.

I also bought the lumber to build a new fishing dock. She ain't pissed-pissed but she ain't draggin' me to the bedroom either.
