psw111 back plate need help

Hi, need some instruction, How do i remove the back plate do i just unscrew
and pry it with a screw driver, Im afraid that i might scratch it.

    Well I think unscrewing it could help.....


    Not sure I would use a screw driver to pry it out but that's just me.

    Unfortunately in some cases that is the only way to do it (pry it with a screw driver), but you can mask it - not only the screw driver tip, but also the back plate face in the area that you will be working at.

    Just take your time (no rush) and try to pry it at different places in order to loose it a bit.

    Thanks for info i was able to remove it by a little shaking and prying after unscrewing it. this thing just quit working so iwill
    be sending it to service center.

    Glad to hear that you managed to remove it. Yep, if you are having issues constantly with this unit, then it might be better to contact Polk Customer Service.
