Meh, not surprised one bit by this. Frankly I could care less about Tom Cruise anymore.

I don't really understand the vitriol people have for him. Personal life aside, he's a good actor and I enjoy most films he's been in."I did not slap you. I high-fived your face."
-
He's a nut for sure, but I also tend to enjoy most of the movies he's in. He's an easy target for people looking to hate someone. Like I said I think he's a nut but in the grand scheme of things there are far worse people out there. I'd probably pick him over Mel Gibson if I had to be friends, and I like most of the movies they're both in.
At the end of the day he's just another religious fanatic, he's just vocal and happens to have a very large stage to speak his mind. -
He's too short.

I think he's a much better actor than he gets credit for. He was OUTSTANDING in Jerry McQuire.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

Although I enjoy his films, I don't see him as a great actor. When I see his films his characters all seem the same. He doesn't make me lose Tom Cruise in the movie. Nicholas Cage on the other hand makes a more beleviable character to me. This is just my opinion though.
On a side note Katie was in the musicals at the high school where I teach. The people who were here then said you could tell she was head and shoulders above everyone in her casts. I guess she's always had it.2-channelBelles 22A Pre, Emotiva XPA-2 Gen 2, Marantz SA8005, Pro-Ject RPM-10 Turntable, Pro-Ject Phono Box DS3B, Polk Audio Legend L800's, AudioQuest Cable throughout. -

To have him play 6' 5" Jack Reacher in his new movie is patently ridiculous....almost as bad as Ben Affleck playing A young Jack Ryan....jeezus:eek: -

Enough of this big charade already...why don't he and Travolta just get a cute little place together, overlooking the park and live happily ever after?

That's funny 'cause my wife was just telling me about her and the girls at work were joking around poking fun at the 2 of them.2-channel: Modwright KWI-200 Integrated, Dynaudio C1-II Signatures

Xsmi, Katie Holmes may have had "it" at one point, but she, IMO, lost it somewhere along the way.
Case in point: the movie "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark".
Fortunately for me (and the tv), the bolt jammed on my Mosin Nagant half-way into that movie, or else the tv would have numerous big holes in the screen. We had to settle for shouts of "In the name of gawd, please die ! DIE !! DIE ALREADY !!!!" for the last half of the movie (not my fault these SOBS are too lazy to get off the couch and turn off the BluRay player).
It'll be interesting to see where Tom Cruise's career takes him from here.Sal Palooza -

I can only imagine the non-disclosure aggreement she's (Katy) gonna' hafta' sign. Fact: the Scientology bunch is very vindictive and no stranger to physical violence. They do not like to have their secrets spilled, at all!

I'm sure they'll both land on their feet.
