epik legend blown fuse

I noticed when I tried to turn on my legend, the red light did not come on.I manually switch it on/off due to the plate gets fairly warm even when I leave it on and on auto.
Below the power plug there is a clip that pulls out where the fuse is located and a spare. After inspecting, the fuse was blown and dropped in the spare. After placing the new one and powering up,it blew.So this morning I went to radio shack and bought some more fuses 4A 250v.When I came home and installed, same thing happened, they keep blowing.
Here is my question,is there something wrong with the Amp?The sub is plugged into the outlet on the wall and even tried plugging it into the surge protector.Still the same problem.Last time I watched a movie was a few weeks ago and it played fine.
Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry I can't help you with your thread Flyfisher, but your handle caught my eye. If you ever head out to the Southern Appalachian area, shoot me a PM. I'm a flyfishing guide and will be glad to show you around. Sorry to derail your thread and good luck with the sub.

Did you buy it new or used? If you bought it new, wouldn't it be better to just call Epik themselves for help on a warranty claim? If you bought it used, unfortunately, I don't think the warranty is transferrable. Keep us informed what you find out.

Hopefully the fellow polkie can help you out here. Epik has had a number of amps go bad but they are always more than happy to send you a new one under warranty. Lol, of course they may have to send it to the fellow polkie's address and he'll have to get it to you,but one way or another you'll get the Legend working again.
