Hi All,

As you probably know, I just picked up a brand new 2012 Mac Pro tower from Apple. Really liking it so far.

However, besides the OS and bundled software, the Hard Drive is pretty much empty!

This is what I need -
1. I have a CD collection of various purchased CD's that I would like to load on the tower. Using the highest quality settings, I found that ripping a single CD may take several minutes!!
2. I have a photo collection of thousands of photos (Kodak Picture CD's, burned CDs from digital cameras, and memory cards that I would like to load onto the tower.

I am asking that if I provide an External HDD, along with my CD's and pictures, would it be possible for someone to load all of this on the HDD at the highest quality settings? Meaning WAV/FLAC + a MP3 320 version for the car?

I will definitely compensate anyone who will help me do this, only catch is that I need this in a 48-hour time window. Meaning ship on Monday, receive back on Thursday, as I will be packing my bags on Friday.

Just throwing this out here as there is a lot of valuable data and I trust the Polk forum.

Thanks in advance!

Is it even logistically possible to do such a task in what would be a realistic 24 hours (tops) window?
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Yes. There are companies that don't use humans to do this task, basically you send them a spindle of CD's, their machine automatically loads them one by one, like an assembly line, then copies it onto an external hard drive or media. Someone has to re-pack and ship, but the machine does the rest.
