I'm embarrassed by my fellow Polkie's lack of respect to the hand that allows them to post here.

For bridging the gap and allowing the regular guy a chance to dip his toes into real hi-fi! CHEERS! There's something unique about Polk Audio that will always set them apart from the rest. In this "cookie-cutter" day and age, that IS an accomplishment to be proud of.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

I don't know, 410 views and only 31 posts........I'm not feeling the love. In fact, I'm embarrassed by my fellow Polkie's lack of respect to the hand that allows them to post here.
I have to agree!! There are a good handful of guys that I can think of that should have posted by now!! -

Love my 2.3TL's and RTA 12C's, which are now 28 years old. Loved their sound when I bought 'em and they sound even better now!
I used to attend CES in the early to late 80's, but not for the audio part. I always set aside time to go into Polk's room to see/hear what they were up to, which is where I first saw/heard the monoliths aka SDA's. Don't remember the model, but they must have been SRS or 1.2's.
Happy Birthday Polk, here's to 40 more!"Science is suppose to explain observations not dismiss them as impossible" - Norm on AA; 2.3TL's w/sonicaps/mills/jantzen inductors, Gimpod's boards, Lg Solen SDA inductors, RD-0198's, MW's dynamatted, Armaflex speaker gaskets, H-nuts, brass spikes, Cardas CCGR BP's, upgraded IC Cable, Black Hole Damping Sheet strips, interior of cabinets sealed with Loctite Power Grab, AI-1 interface with 1000VA A-L transformer -

On the left is the Big Kahuna, Al Ballard. He's the reason this forum exsits, thanks Al. Next to him is the one, the only, the legend, Polk Paul.

Mr. Serious in the shades is the guy responsible for, among other things, the LSi's and LSiM's, Mark Suskind. The lady in the white shirt (I forgot your name, sorry) is responsible for making sure that everything gets to where it's suppose to. No small feat! The woman with the red hair is Charlotte, great lady. When you call Polk's main line, she's the one you speak with. She also guards the main entrance like a Doberman.

The tall dude in the blue T is the new IT guy, Jon S.

That's a whole lot of real nice, dedicated folks that, in one way or another, help you to enjoy the music.

Solid breakdown, Jesse. That was a good review of all the names I've had to learn in the last two weeks. It was nice to meet you in person.

+1 on the outstanding breakdown Jessie of the people behind Polk Audio seen in the pics. Great pics Jon S. Loved the one pic of Paul Di C. holding the bottle of Mad Dog 20/20, back in the day, that stuff would kick my butt.

Yay Polk! You don't look a say over 25.
Seriously, Polk gives the common man a good product at all price levels. Also, the products last for decades. How can you possibly beat that?
