This is a day for celebration. On June 22nd 1972, Polk Audio came to be. Forty years later they are still doing what they do best, making great speakers that folks can afford.

Congratulations!!!

I want to personally thank each and everyone at Polk Audio that throughout the years have made the music sound just a little bit better. What a great group of folks, thank you!

I concur and I would like to also thank Helen and Kim and the rest of customer service for keeping it real when so many other companies have just crapped on the ones that made them successful

Even though I am a relative newb to audio, I can say that Polk's the one that got me hooked. I am also hugely grateful for this forum as you all have helped me along the way.

    Cool....

Got my second set of SDA SRS2's just today.

I wouldn't mind having one of every model they ever made and hooked up too. I've given it a run but fell way short but still, the models I've owned and still do, Polk has had some great speakers for the money for sure. Thanks POLK Audio and it's employees for keeping it a moraly proud company to date.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Happy Anniversary! My favorite brand of speakers.
    SRT For Life; SDA Forever!

    The SRT SEISMIC System:
Four main satellite speakers, six powered subs, two dedicated for LFE channel, two center speakers for over/under screen placement and three Control Centers. Amaze your friends, terrorize your neighbors, seize the audio bragging rights for your state. Go ahead, buy it; you only go around once.

Thank you Polk Audio for all your speakers, but particularly the SDA's! Amazing speakers with a soundstage that no other speaker (that I've heard) can touch. I listened to this one a couple days ago on my wonderful 2.3TL's. Happy Anniversary to all the great folks past and current at Polk!

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....
