I have a Yamaha RX-V661 receiver and every thing works except the display. Is there a fuse or something I could check before I send it in for service?

Check the bulb. It is common for these to go bad, I had a friend who had the same problem. :cool:

Where is the power supply located on this model

First make sure the unit is unplugged. You need to remove the screws that hold the metal lid on the unit. On the model I repaired for a friend the bulb was located at the front of the unit just behind the display. Hope this helps. :cool:
