PSWi225 Problem with popping

I recently purchased a PSWi225 - it's great except occasionally it will pop - usually 3 times in rapid succession, like someone knocking on a door. When set to auto - it will sometimes wake-up when there is no audio source and pop like popcorn.
I've tried all 4 channels and changing the the location of the transmitter. This does tend to change the frequency of the issues but hasn't eliminated it.
Any suggestions? I certainly could be interference - I have a lot of wireless equipment in the room (a phone, cell phones, PS3 (bluetooth controllers and remote + wireless USB dongles for Rockband), and an Airport Extreme 802.11n duel band router. The transmitter and speaker are actually fairly close together (about 3 feet) though so I'd expect a good signal. Unfortunately the problem is random enough that it's difficult to isolate any particular cause -
Suggestions? Are there known devices that interfere with the frequencies used?
Thanks.
