Considering a Adcom 555, speaker protection a concern?

I recently bought some monitor 10's and have decided they need more power than the 65RMS they get from my marantz 2245. I wanted a marantz 250, but the cost is prohibitive so I have been looking at Adcom GFA-555's since they are relatively inexpensive and I will never have to worry about headroom again. BUT....do I need to be worried about speaker protection? My monitor 10's do have polyswitches but should I add fuses temporaroly? or add a speaker protection circuit to the 555?

If the 555 is in good health I'd say you have nothing to worry about.

+1, There is only one good speaker protection circuit out there "YOU" just don't be cranking the crap out of the eviction control knob.If the 555 is in good health I'd say you have nothing to worry about.
