I have done a couple of these. Like to see how yours turns out.

Original Boards or are you using Gimpgods?

These will be using the original boards -

I have performed the TL mod on a set of CRS+ which is similar

Not just similar, they are nearly identical.

Nice job on the CRS ones above. I would personally take it easy with the hot glue myself though. Just a dab will do ya.

    They look good though.

The two Solens on top have their leads twisted together, but not attached to anything else. How come

I always put a little more hot glue than normal as I am shipping these back to people...

Just about every crossover I receive parts are dislodged when I open them up... I cant have that happen when they receive them back

You know I wish I had gone Clarity with CRS+'s but I only have about 200 hours on them now. We are expanding the building at work and I will have a nice big office so I'm waiting till its all done to give them a new home. I won't be going real big with the gear my SL2000 will more then likely be the pre I will use and I'm on the hunt for a 555/545 amp to power them with. I even have some room treatments to go in the office as well. Can't wait!!

Gimpod was working on a set of boards for the 1.2tls to hold Clarity caps as I plan to go out board x overs in the future..

I still am but got side tracked for a bit sorry. I have to put together a list of questions that I need answers to before I can proceed, I'll try and get that to you next week sometime.

    Larry,

I (and I'm sure many others) recommend going all ESA (or better if you can swing the $$$$$). You will absolutely love the audio (along with the the Duelund Cast resistors) the Clarity Caps produce.

My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....
