    Mike,
    We all enjoy music in our own way but I am assuming you like good sound just like the rest of us. Otherwise, you would never have went the pre/amp/dac route. You mentioned vinyl in an earlier post with all the scratches and pops. If they had a vinyl record without all that, which would you buy or listen to ? Same with computer files. If there was a better format over mp3, why not listen to that ? It all starts at the source my friend.
