I plugged my mp4000 in 2 weeks ago and it didnt turn on. I only had it a year and a half and dont use it much.. I called polk and told them about it and they sent me a whole new control board with amp unit. I noticed i had no return shipping label when i recieved the new one so I called Polk. They told me to throw the bad one away. They said it's not worth the time and money to ship it back and look at it and then try to fix it.
So I was wondering if it could be fixed since my warranty will run out in a year and i could have a spare.
Does anyone have any idea would would cause it to just "not turn on?"
Thanks

I would think any competent electronics technician should be able to troubleshoot it and tell you if it can be fixed. If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.
