    Looking at the graphs at the end it seems they are a bit bass heavy. But having heard them I don't think that is true at all. I heard good clean bass not boomy not heavy but well rounded.

    He seems to like them and kind of smack them down at the same time.

    Good read though.

    I think this quote from the section below the graphs sums up the mains:
    As you can see from the measurement chart, the tower’s bass is boosted by about 5 dB between 40 and 90 Hz, although the effects of this boost will be altered tremendously by the distance from the speaker to the nearby walls, and by room acoustics

    So setup right in the room you can change that boost so its more flat overall. More than likely where you heard them they were setup properly so as to negate the measured hump :smile:.

    Once again why the room is the MOST important thing in any setup :smile:
