For $199, I got the 250GB version with Forza 4 and Halo Combat Evolved. Hasn't come yet but can't wait to play. I also picked up used discs from Ebay for Halo 3 and ODST for about $10 each. Sounds like these may be really short for campaign mode. I still have to find Reach, and will eventually buy Halo 4 assuming they are worth it for single player mode. I'm not much into playing online at this point.
Of these, which has good single player gameplay?Halo 3.was.a.good game for single but reach was 5x better imho.
Didnt much care for odst but ymmv. Happy gaming and shoot us your gamer tag so we can join in the fight neighbor.
Yup, I am 6 levels in I think on co-op on normal. Legendary solo is kicking my rear, I am only like 3 in on that I think. Not a fan of these new promethean guns."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Mixed feelings on it, both the storyline and the levels. Haven't given up hope yet though, and the animation is ridiculously good with reflections and whatnot between levels."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Burned through it on Legendary with a friend and got some of the more difficult achievements. I was pretty impressed with the storyline, especially the ending. Graphically, best looking game on the system, hands down.
As far as the Promethean guns, you'll find that they have their uses. For instance, the Promethean shotgun is an absolute murder-cannon when you're fighting up close against knights. Even on Legendary, you can take a knight down with a quickness, usually in two shots. Same goes for the Suppressor up close (though I think it needed less of a spread at distance to make it a good weapon). I really like the Light Rifle, but mostly for headshotting the dogs. It isn't so hot against knights. But all of that is kinda' what I dig... Different guns made more sense on different areas.
Haven't even tried War Games yet. I tend to do more co-op than adversarial, so I've been enjoying Spartan Ops, especially as each week's new episode comes out. I hope they continue doing that with DLC in the near future.Equipment list:
