Just got a new pair of speakers that are 6 ohm and the conections on my Jolida are for 8 ohm or 4 ohm. Which would be recommended for 6 ohm speakers? Thanks

Which ones sound best to you?
If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.

Haven't tried them either way yet. Don't want to damage the speakers or the amp. If it's purely a sound issue I'll try 4 ohm's first.

This is the right answer. Either tap is equally appropriate; pick the one that sounds better to you.

Also, always bear in mind that the "nominal" impedance of a speaker system is just that - nominal. The actual impedance will vary as a function of frequency, with a peak at the system's resonance, a smooth flat region above it (the "nominal" impedance is taken from that flat region - typically in the range of 100 to 200 Hz), and who-knows-what above that!
