From what i can gather, I am having the same problem as the op in this thread
http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?109441-My-banana-plugs-won-t-fit-correctly-into-my-speakers&highlight=banana+plugs+won%27t+fit+correctly+speakers
I started a new thread in hopes to get my problem resolved. The banana plugs (GLS Locking Banana plugs gen 4) will not go all the way into the binding post. Pic below. Problem is on both CS2 center speaker and monitor 60 series II floor standing speakers. And no, they are not in the locked position when inserting. Please help. Thank you.

Try a little DeoxIT, it may allow you to insert them in all the way.

I have the same problem with those plugs and my Lsi 15s. I just insert it as far as I can and leave it alone lol.

Whatever you do, don't force them in until your binding posts break...

Honestly not worth switching the binding posts man. I would just if anything contact GLS and see if they can send you out another one since its probably a issue with their plug being a bit off overall.

I personally just left it alone in mine and forgot about it

Also if you replace the factory binding post you void the warranty on the speakers should something go wrong. Once again why its not worth it IMHO.

No, i will not be replacing my plugs any time soon. GLS says they just dont fit my posts. no explanation yet. Do the polk series have odd or cheap post sets? trying to figure out what to do to remedy the situation.

That is weird. I run all GLS locking bananas and I have never had a problem getting them into the posts on any of my polk speakers. Have you tried give the tips a little squeeze with a pair of needle nose pliers to make sure they are completely compressed? thats the only thing I can think of. GLS has served me well. I just ordered another 48 of them because I like them so much!
