Can someone with rtia3 provide a measurement?

Hello fellow Polk heads!

Looking to buy some rtia3's and a csia4 to start my ht setup.

I have a 55" panasonic plasma mounted above a corner fireplace and have limited space to the left and right of the tv. I want to mount via keyhole on rtia3's but only have about 6 inches and the website claims speakers are about 8.5 inches wide at the front. I understand the rti's taper and slim down though. Would someone be willing to provide a width measurement from the rear and about 4.5 inches from the rear of speaker?

I thank you in advance and will be joining the fam soon!

Cheers,

Tom

5 inches at the rear of the cabinet, this is as narrow as they get, at 4.5" it gets up to 7+ inches and 8.5 at their max

Here are the specs from the info page on these speakers.

    14 3/4" H x 8 7/16" W x 14" D
    (37.47cm H x 21.43cm W x 35.56cm D)

    It's under the product info.
    hope this helps.

Thank you! I am going to get the fxi4s next. Do you think I'll regret not getting the a6? I can get it for $50 more. I just don't want it to overpower the a3's.

Go with the "6" carries movie dialog and important for surround HT if you upgrade later and move the 3's to the rears it will be much better

plus most receivers have adjustable levels per channel if you need to tame the center

    Enjoy and welcome to CP

I am trying to keep it simple is the only reason I would go with the 4. I plan on mounting above tv and the depth of a4 is easier since I can get a stand for it like this. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_769CSB1210/Center-Stage-Bracket-CSB-1210-BLK.html?search=Tv+center

The a6 i would have to recess which means cutting into wall. As you can see in my pic below, the space behind the tv is hollow so it may not be too hard.
